Driving east from Nerja you find yourself on one of the most panoramic
stretches of the N340. Leaving Malaga province the road enters
Granada province and the untouched Costa Tropical. Sheer cliffs, jagged
landscape and azure seas fire the imagination. |

Alan Wilkinson and his wife Carol have lived here for five years and have
integrated with the locals, their daughter having attended the school in Romeral.

Wilkinson Estates live and work in the typically Spanish costal town of Castell de Ferro. There
are an abundance of shops, supermarkets and of course local bars. The motorway
connection from Nerja to the west will reach Castell within the next three years
and there are more direct plans for a marina.

Castell is the gateway to the Alpujarras with all the famous towns of Orgiva,
Lanjaron and Trevelez within easy reach.
The Sierra Nevadas are only an hour and a half away making it possible to ski in the morning and
top up on your tan in the afternoon.
